Mr. Purcell graduated summa cum laude from Missouri State University in May 2022, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Music with a minor in French. During his undergraduate studies, Connor volunteered with the Ozarks Literacy Council and performed with the University’s orchestra and choirs. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2025. While in law school, Connor held leadership positions in the Energy and Environmental Law Society and the OUTLaw student organization. He interned with Land of Lincoln Legal Aid, the National Zoning Atlas, and the City of Champaign, and gained additional experience through his academic and service work. Connor was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November 2025.
Mr. Purcell will initially focus his practice on wills, trusts, probate, and real estate.
In addition to practicing law, Connor enjoys reading and playing violin. Though he lives in Champaign, having been born and raised in the Kansas City area, Connor is an enthusiastic Chiefs and Royals fan.
